A graduate will be familiar with a substantive amount of law and general legal procedures, and will be able to perform a number of tasks in a legal environment.
Paralegal studies graduates will have experience with legal research and writing, standard legal forms, legal pleading drafts and other documents, litigation support, client file management, and other related activities. Paralegal studies graduates will also become proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, Windows applications, and the internet. Paralegal studies graduates will be trained to comply with the Legal and Ethical canons regulating the paralegal's role as an integral member of the legal support team.
